What this desk covers
Core Peptides Lab is an independent research digest devoted to a compact reference set: BPC-157, CJC-1295, GHK-Cu, and KPV. The set was chosen to represent different peptide classes and different stages of evidence. Together, the files span repair biology, the growth-hormone axis, copper and skin-matrix research, and inflammatory signaling.
The site is organized for comparison rather than promotion. Each compound receives its own page and its own terms of reference. The home page defines the set, the comparison page aligns the evidence profiles, and the shared reference register gathers the cited record. No compound is made to stand in for the whole field.
Core Peptides Lab is not a store, clinic, manufacturer, telehealth service, or product-ranking publication. It does not provide sourcing, personal protocols, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. Its task is narrower: describe what was studied, state what was observed, and mark the distance between that observation and a human clinical conclusion.
How the literature is read
The editorial method begins with four labels: material, model, measure, and maturity. Material identifies the exact peptide or formulation. Model identifies cells, isolated tissue, animals, healthy volunteers, or a patient group. Measure states the actual endpoint, from a signaling protein to a clinical outcome. Maturity asks whether the finding has been replicated and whether later human evidence exists.
This framework prevents familiar errors. A targeted KPV nanoparticle is not the same intervention as free KPV. CJC-1295 with DAC is not the same exposure as Modified GRF 1-29. A GHK-containing combination product cannot isolate pure GHK-Cu. A rat tendon study cannot establish recovery in people. These distinctions remain visible even when they make a summary less dramatic.
Numbered citations connect statements to the source register. Quantitative claims carry citations. Community observations, where the corpus supplies them, are labeled as anecdotal and are kept apart from controlled results. Mechanism-based cautions are described as theoretical when no human harm has been shown.
The editorial stance
The desk uses a calm standard: favorable and unfavorable findings receive the same scrutiny. A positive result is reported with its model and limits. A missing adverse event in a small experiment is not inflated into proof of safety. An unresolved concern is not presented as a confirmed injury. Where a review synthesizes earlier work, it is described as a review rather than as a new trial.
The site also distinguishes regulatory status from scientific interest. A compound can be biologically interesting and still lack approval, validated human dosing, long-term safety evidence, or verified commercial composition. Topical cosmetic use can have a different evidence base from systemic exposure. Anti-doping status can matter separately from medical risk.
